Position Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Per-Diem Registered Nurses to fill available shifts at a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Laurel, MD. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care, managing a diverse patient population and collaborating with a skilled healthcare team.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN license from the state of MD and current BLS Certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of RN work experience.
  • Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, effective communication, cultural competency, collaboration, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and implement triage protocols
  • Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
  • Monitor and document patient conditions
  • Assist physicians with medical procedures
  • Maintain infection control standards
  • Provide patient and family education
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary emergency response teams
