Position Summary:

Real Projectives is seeking a motivated Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to champion our company culture and drive the growth of our service business. In this influential role, the HRBP will lead and direct core HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee learning & development, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and policy enforcement. Acting as a trusted partner to management, the HRBP will align business objectives with employee growth and leadership strategies to drive organizational success. Under the guidance of the Owner & CEO, the HRBP will craft and execute HR strategies that support business needs, foster talent development, and enhance employee engagement, all while ensuring strict compliance with employment laws and best practices.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s mission and strategic plans for human resources and talent, focusing on current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Fosters a positive and cohesive organizational culture that lives out our vision, mission, and values.  Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, strengthen engagement, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Leads the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles.
  • Manages and supports new hire onboarding program from offer signing through the first 180 days of employment.
  • Accurate and timely payroll processing using ADP.
  • Develops, evaluates, and implements competitive total compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Plans, creates, updates, and monitors effective learning and development programs that enhance employee performance and empower internal growth opportunities.
  • Supports all benefits-related activities throughout the employee lifecycle, from new hires to annual open enrollment.
  • Oversees and guides employee performance, discipline, and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Analyzes HR trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies that enhance HR functions and support business goals.
  • Manages, addresses, and resolves complex employee relations issues and, when needed, conducts thorough, objective investigations with integrity.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Develops, coaches, and manages employees and leaders directly and indirectly through daily challenges.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lead and execute established strategies and policies and build new and improved frameworks where necessary.
  • Must communicate effectively with all levels in the company using excellent oral and written skills.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills and attention to detail for the needs of an entrepreneurial and growing services business.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.

Preferred Software Proficiency:

  • Familiar with SharePoint, BambooHR, ADP payroll, and ClickTime.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management or business partnership roles.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred or the ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
